Privacy Policy

Overview

ProTek RutOS is operated by ProTek Systems. The application is used for monitoring and managing ProTek RutOS routers and access points connected to the ProTek RutOS Cloud platform.

Information We Collect

The application may process the following data:

• User account information such as name, email address and role.
• Authentication tokens used to keep authorized users logged in.
• Router information such as hostname, model, MAC address, public IP address, local management IP and online or offline status.
• Site information assigned to the user.
• WiFi status and configuration metadata.
• Connected client information reported by routers, such as MAC address, hostname, SSID, signal level and last seen time.
• Router telemetry such as CPU load, connected client count and traffic statistics.
• Remote command history such as reboot, sync config, restore cloud config and password change commands.

How We Use Data

We use this data to authenticate users, display network and router status, provide monitoring and troubleshooting tools, send authorized remote commands to routers, and maintain audit and security logs.

Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. Data is used only for operating the ProTek RutOS Cloud platform and providing support to authorized customers.

Data Security

The app communicates with the ProTek RutOS Cloud using HTTPS. Mobile login uses API tokens instead of browser sessions. Access is controlled by user roles including Super Admin, Company Admin and Company Viewer.

Data Retention

Telemetry and connected client data may be retained for operational monitoring and troubleshooting. Older telemetry and stale client data may be automatically removed to reduce database storage.

User Access

Users can access only routers and sites assigned to their account according to their role. Company Viewer accounts can only view monitoring information, while administrative accounts can manage assigned sites and routers.
